New titles available through our ICE virtual library subscription

We have 8 new titles added to our ICE virtual library access this week. Please log on and make use of them:
~Advances in cement research
~Dams and reservoirs
~Geosynthetics International
~Geotechnique letters
~International journal of physical modelling
~Journal environmental engineering science
~Magazine of concrete research 

To access these journals you can either look for the title in the library search: http://primo.uel.ac.uk 
Or you can go direct to the ICE Virtual Library through our database list: http://www.uel.ac.uk/lls/resources/databaselisti/
We have access to these titles until the end of 2013, so please make the best use of them.

SCOPUS trial access.....

Hi,
We have access to the SCOPUS database for a trial access period of one month. The access stops on the 13th September.

Please try the database and let me know if you have any feedback regarding the database. There will also be a demonstration session from a SCOPUS sales representative will be held in the Docklands library, ECDL testing lab at 10am friday 23rd August. Please let me know if you can attend.

Digimap App

Hi,
For all of you that like Apps on your phones, tablets and other mobile devices..... Digimap have released a great new App. You can get the App and use it for field trips/work, it is very easy to download and start using straight away. The App is called: Fieldtrip GB search for it in your App Store and download it free of charge.
