About to start revising?

Here are some places to find help and advise on revison techniques and useful tools to help you manage your time and stress levels effectively. 
Online study skills advice:
The Open University  has a very good site with online resources helping you to organise your study and
exam period

Learning Higher has some useful tools for time management. Always find that you run out of time.... find out where your time goes using this time management plan.

There are also some great apps which will help you keep on track while you are revising.

One for visual thinkers and learners, iMindMap is a brilliant mind mapping application that turns an iPad or iPhone into a personal brainstorming and thought-structuring device. This can also be very useful when you are revising certain topics.

Then UEL also has a very useful site called Write it right which will help you make sure that you are writing answers in an academic tone.

EDUROAM wireless internet access at other universities.... now gone global!


Eduroam seems to have massively expanded and is now not just operating in the UK. It looks to have gone global:  https://www.eduroam.org/index.php?p=where
The google map makes it very easy to see participating institutions not just in the UK but also now further afield.
