UEL Libraries will be closed for the above time period

Electronic Resources
Many of our resources can be accessed online from anywhere in the world.  These range from e-books to journals to databases.
You will need your Athens username and password in order to use these resources.
Details about which electronic resources are best for your subjects can be found here:
This site also includes useful suggestions for websites which may be suitable for inclusion in your dissertations or assignments.
E-books can be searched on the library catalogue by typing in the subject area you are interested in, e.g. human resource management.  When the results appear, refine your search on the left hand side by clicking on E-books collection.  Everything remaining will be an e-book which you can access from off campus.

Sconul Access Scheme
If you sign up to the Sconul Access scheme before the library closes, you can also visit and use the resources of other university libraries in the UK.  You need a SCONUL card to be able to use other libraries. More information can be found here:
Postgraduates are often allowed to borrow books from other libraries but please check the terms and conditions of each library before you go.  To apply for a Sconul card, please make sure you have no overdue books or fines before taking your UEL card to a library counter.
Check here for other universities you may wish to use:
For Masters and PhD students, you can view and download many PhD Theses from the British Library Ethos service if you create a free account:

Ask a Librarian
If you wish to contact the Library Staff during the closure period, you can use the Ask a Librarian service for instant chat with a librarian
